Hey there everyone! I wanted to remind everyone that voting begins this week for the Chase Community Giving campaign on Facebook. This round, the IHRF could win a $1 MILLION grant from Chase.
For those of you that don't know and a reminder for those of you that do, the IHRF WAS selected as one of the TOP 100 CHARITIES in December and now they are moving on to Round 2. During Round 1, over 1million people on Facebook participated in the Chase Community Giving program. There were over 500,000 charities in the voting polls, but only 100 were selected and the IHRF was one of them. These charities were chosen based on the largest number of votes.
Voting for the $1 Million Grant in Round 2 begins January 15, 2010 and will last until 11:59:59 p.m. ET on January 22, 2010.
- One organization will receive $1 million.
- Five additional organizations will receive $100,000 each.
- The Chase Advisory Board will select additional nominated charities from either round to share in another $1million!

We as IH patients are also mourning the loss of a fellow IH patient, Melinda, who due to complications, has gone to The Other Side. R.I.P Melinda.
